Volunteer with the Foundation

Volunteers help us do the day-to-day work that keeps the mission moving. Opportunities can be one-time or ongoing.

You might be a good fit if you enjoy:

  • Supporting events and community programs
  • Assisting with research, archives, or transcription
  • Helping organize photos, documents, and historical materials
  • Supporting communications (writing, editing, social media, design)
  • Education and outreach (schools, student groups, community partners)

We welcome partnerships with organizations aligned with the Foundation’s mission—especially schools, cultural institutions, researchers, and community groups.

Partnerships might include:

  • Co-hosted programs, lectures, or community conversations
