We, The Dr. Matilda A. Evans Educational Foundation Executive Board will empower to foster collaborative thinking, to further drive innovation as well as to always remain informative by providing educational seminars and opportunities. As an essential component of the foundation, the Executive Board will meet often to maintain good governance and uphold accountability. Furthermore, to discuss plans, strategy and make significant decisions.

The Dr. Matilda A. Evans Educational Foundation Executive Board is a working board, working under the guidance of a Unit Base Team in order to ensure there will always be freedom, justice and equality in the performance of our duties, our commitments and service to others.

We, the Executive Board Members will always practice honesty, uprightness, probity and reliability. We work as one, unified and always striving to better the greater community in the spirit of the legacy of Dr. Matilda A. Evans, the first Black person, male or female, to be licensed to practice medicine in the state of South Carolina in 1897.
